My name is Topher Neal. I am a graphic and web designer. Originally trained in more formal art forms, I developed a fancy for computers at a young age. Immediately upon introduction, I took to graphic design. Since then, I have made a career out of a passion.
My interests have given me the opportunities, experience, and eye for a number of scenarios. My experience in both design and production has given me the insight to identify problems before they arise, and accommodate for the best solutions when creating files or producing final products. One of my first roles taught me not only art setup for screen printing at a fine-scale, but also the types of standards and obstacles to expect when during the production process. Most of these principles were not confined to the promotional product industry, and were easily applied or adapted to other focuses, such as apparel. I honed larger-scale production while managing design and production at a local shop specializing in signage, decals, and vehicle graphics. Decals, stationary, brochures, and packaging projects helped fill the knowledge gaps in-between. My experience with the web is probably the most deeply-rooted, starting before the implementation of CSS and continuing into proprietary and modern content management systems. I design website front ends with ease of use in mind, for the owner and the visitors. Mobile is always first when making my front ends designs into reality.
